Sending ITRV for Verification?

I had filled and original return but had realized that there were some mistakes so had to redo and file a revised return.... My question is do I have to send both the Original and Revised return for Verification.....I have already send JUST the revised return and have received an acknowledgement that they (Banglore Processing Center) has received it....It's been a month and I have not received my refund...What is the next step
