Many still believes T.N. Manoharan times result were the best for CA Final student is not a conclusive n correct picture coz lets only analysis 2nd group results since Nov 2006 will give u the correct picture......
1-on November total 6555 students passed out of 16497 giving 38.68%.....but why see % and why not no. of students?so taken about 6500 figure for 2nd group i move ahead...
2-On may 2007 yes no. of students passing 2nd group slips to 2777 out of15874 students n 17.49 %..but yes no. of students also falls alot.....but nov 2007 results were good for students where 5005 students students cleared..so i think we can compare nov 2006 to nov 2007.......
3-still may 2008 n nov 2008 give good numbers n students passing % remained at 20+% number of passing students crossed 5000 both times..
4-Students say from June 2009 results of 2nd group were poor is not correct as thogh number of passing students fall to
4185 number of students writing the exam also enhanced but that time was of recession..but still number is approx 63% of figures of nov 2006 exam ca n which is not considered lower in Recession times...again result fall to 3099 that aprox 47% of nov 2006 but does not mean 39% turned 10%..but larger giving lower %
5-Finally may 2010 again number dropped but if u add even new results the number still crosses 3000 mark..
conclusion..any president come n go CA still remains achievable..lower number not really turned so lower :)..thogh lower the pass ,higher the average salaries..but yes this is the wrong way by the ICAI to filter in CA Final stage..
