sec148 notice
Assessment officer issued first notice under sec133 to the address in one state where the assessee is permanently residing. It was responded .AO issued a second notice under sec148 to the old address in another state where the AO is having jurisdiction. Is it permissible?

Yes, AO can send notice to the address as registered with PAN. It should not be time barred.
Thanks. But the AY 2018 19 return was filed in the new address.
