Salary of a priest
Does the priests who are working for on a salary basis in temples need to pay tax on their income that they had received as a salary.

Yes, if it comes in taxable bracket.
Aren't they cover under negative list
He is an individual and he is required to file return if his total taxable income (before 80C 80D etc deductions) exceed the basic limit of 250000/- ( it is 3 lakhs for senior citizens)
