I filled itr for ay 16-17 on 25march2018 with zero tax liability us 44AD also e-verfied it.
But on 26march2018 I revised it and submitted the same in which I paid 700 tax .
actually revision of belated applicable from FY 16-17.so whether they admit the revise return?
will Income Tax dept.accept the revised return.!?
if no,then what will happen...any penalty or prosecution aganist me...will I get refund of my paid 700 tax...
please help me out... it's very urgent....

In AY 16-17 we can't revise the ITR if filed after due date...
Your payment will be calculated by ITD and Your return will treated S mismatch of Tax. After they will issued notice 143 (1)... then You can submit response / complaince to ITD about your ITR...

It's not taken as revised return by ITD...
Your first (Original Return u/s 139(4)) return only taken for processing by ITD... Your second return not taken or view by ITD...
But,
Your 1st return with Your payment Rs. 700 are showing mismatch at the time of processing then Dept will issued notice for the mismatch...
After You can give your response as per Your calculations.
