A request to CPC. Kindly Stop sending income tax return filing reminders to those who have ALREADY FILED IT!
The tax Practitioners keep getting panicky calls from clients whose returns have been filed long ago.The mailboxes get flooded with such emails and SMSs scare the assessees further,
I understand that.
The CPC could take some trouble and send the emails only to those who have not filed by updating the system. The average client may not understand the situation when he gets reminders by sms and mail especially due to penalties for non filing of returns.
Sending such mindless reminders encourages recipients to not take CPC emails seriously.
