Request for change/correction in pan data

I have filed for my client, request for change in PAN card. The same is showing online with below details:-

"Your request for 'New PAN card and/or Change/Correction in PAN Data' has been marked for audit by ITD and sent back to NSDL for examination"

What does this mean and what should I do next?
