Why is the CA Foundation pass percentage so low? Is it because of the vast syllabus or the negative marking system? Do students lack conceptual clarity, or is poor time management the real reason? Could exam stress and pressure also play a part? Or is it simply the way students approach the exam that makes it difficult to clear?
I believe, pass % has been low since years! When my father was doing CA, he told me that only 1% people are able to pass CA Final exam. So ICAI has this pattern of passing less people. Reason is that only those students who are able to properly comprehend the course shall pass the exam only. Less people are passing means more value to those who passed this exam.
