1st of all CONGRATULATIONS 4 becoming a FINALIST....

Ans to ur Q-1 = If ur Final attempt is due in May 2013 den u should register urself in ICAI by Nov,2012 i.e. 6 months before ur attempt becoming due.... Waise i would like to suggest u dat get urself registered in ICAI FINALS as early as possible coz Fee Structure may change in dese 2 yrs,till Nov 2012,dats what i think.

Ans to ur Q-2 = I think u should start with any of the theory subjct coz for practicals i think u mst b planning for classes, so until ur clases for practicals start, u can do theory urslf, e.g. Corporate & Allied Laws, Auditing & IFCA

These are my opinions, which may differ from other facts...

& i would suggest u to confirm the above information being it correct or incorrect from ICAI Helpline No(s)....

i posted a query at e-sahaayata. i got answer "you are advised to register immediately" 

Den what is the problem yar if dey suggested u dat get urself registered as early as possible..

Kara lo yar registration,problem kya hai??

Problem hai ki if i register now, i will get study material now which may get outdated by MAY 2013 examination. :-(

anyway i will get myself registered by next week . thanks ..

also if you can suggest which  2subjects i should start my studies with (whose syllabus wont change) ?????? thanks. 

In my opinion , u must take classes in this manner:

1. SFM + MICS
2. Costing + Audit
3. Accounts + Law
4. IDT
5. DT

U may prefer any theory subjects as per your will / requirement.

ICAI study material r always outdated...........They just re-print and not revised modules. So, don't depend on them & get registered as soon as possible.
