I am a cloth merchant. I have registered in GST portal in regular scheme. my gstin no. generated. can I change it to composition levy. what is the process and I have a stock RS 1500000/-
is there any charges paid in stock which I declared in 30th june

if u were in regular scheme under vat and now go for composition your ITC ON stock is to be reversed. If fresh registration no issue.

In vat kapda is tax free so no need to register in vat. It's a fresh registration. Then what is the process of regular to composite
