Given the article ship pattern of the PCC students, we are no where closer to
them. till recently we were denied to commence articles. of course, the
institute made announcement to commence their article ship those who passed one
of the group in PE-2. despite coming from graduation background(which was
considered as an entry level exam then), many of the Pcc students have already
completed their article ship tenure after passing CPT(which is the entry level
exam now) but, even without passing at least a paper in PCE. While their time
spent is valued ours' is not given any weight age.
IPCC was framed correcting the grave mistake of PCC. But, no compensatory
relief was given to PEII students in the form of reduction in article ship
period or allowing them to appear in final exams with in one year from elapse
of one year from the date of final registration.(keeping the articles period
and rules intact. while PCC students were enjoying the Unwarranted advantage.
Isn't that unfair??

yes mam,i'm also a victim of PE2...i had passed pe2 1st group 2yrs ago..but inspite of that cudnt start the articles that time..but in may2010 attempt,i passed the 2nd group also..though, i have registered for the final cum articles now i feel that my valuable time of 2yrs are lost because such notification was not in force that time when i had passed 1 group..i had been attending CA firm unofficially..without being recognised as an article clerck since 2yrs...i even i feel that i have been made to wait for another 2yrs to appear for the final...is it not disadvantage for the students like me( i mean students in my condition)...ICAI should take note of this please.
This point was raised to ICAI but it took the same with deaf ears
I Also Agree With You Mam, Because I Suffer Same Problem. I Should Specially Request Authority Pls Look up such Matter, Because Many of Students Wasted Time for Passing Both Group Of PE-2 . I am Glad recent Announcement made by Institute But Too Late.
