RED HERRING PROSPECTUS U/S 32
In the real market,Is prospectus issued as an invitation to an IPO/FPO to the public at large ,a Red herring prospectus?? If yes then is it true that exact price and quantity is not known to the potential investors? please reply..fully completed prospectus or Red herring ? Which prospectus is used to issue to public ?

1.Red Herring Prospectus dies not have the Number of shares and price per share.
2. It will consist the share amount which is going to be issued. From this, the company will come to know about the number of shares and its price per share.
3. Then the company will issue the Final Prospectus to the public after compiling the other procedural formalities.
4. In case, if there is/are any changes between the Red Herring and Final prospectus, it will be mentioned in the Final Prospectus.

at the time of opening of subscripttion such companies do issue by way of price band /cutoff price to ascertain the demand and fix price of shares where proper capital can be received
