RCM on purchase from register dealer

I had purchased goods from register person and missed gst in invoice but I took the credit what to be done. I am reversing the claimed gst input with interest so is RCM applicable on it as he has not added GST no in invoice and is as equal to unregistered purchase and I had paid him with gst amount. if possible help out with the section.
