Rate of duty on import of machine from china.

from HSN code i try it but rate is coming around 18.5%.

as per my knowledge rate of duty on machine when importing is may be around 30%.

but i want exact rate of duty.

The rate given for the respective tariff is only basic customs duty. To this, the following are added to arrive at the total customs duty value:

• CVD
• EC/SHEC on BCD+CVD
• Spl CVD (if VAT is applicable)

If any other additional type of duty is applicable, that will also be added to arrive at the total duty.
