IF A PCC STUDENT PASSES BOTH THE GROUPS TOGETHER IN HIS 8 TH ATTEMPT AND HAS SCORED HIGHEST MARKS , WILL HE GET A RANK ?

Sure... no of attempt is not relevant as far as Rank is Concerned.

i think that the criteria to be met to get rank is that a  candidate must have scored 55% or more marks in the exams and also must have passed all the papers in single attempt. so i think only people writing 1st time are given rank. anyone clarify.
