if the main contract is exempt from tax, then sub contract is taxable or not....????? if the services provided in sub contract is different from the one which are provided in the main contract.

As per your question there is two contract. second contract is different from first contract. so if first contract is exempt, second contract may be taxable depend upon nature of services provided in second contract.
as per section 66f(1) , services used for providing the main service is not the reference to main service .
