sec 39(2) of ca regulation act 1988 is the main reason for moderation of marks/controlling of result......make voice against this section to remove from the act.....after such removal students gets actual marks which he/she deserves....

First of all, I'd like to begin by saying I'm not writing any of this as a representative or supporter of the institute, nor am I humiliating anyone.

I just want to say that if you believe you are being betrayed, and like someone pointed out, giving 7-8 attempts and still not figuring a way to clear it, the most logical thing would be to retrieve your answer sheet. Instead of going at the exam 7-8 times the same way, why not spend once- or better yet, why not  pool money and ask for the answer sheet of a single person and see how they have graded the paper? This way you all contribute 500rs for a single answer sheet, which gets uploaded here, and the 100s of people who find themselves betrayed can actually see how marks are awarded, and if or not marks are awarded blindly..

Not checking your answer sheet  even once and attempting the same way 7-8 times is like knocking 7-8 hours on the same door without even realising or knowing if someone lives inside or if the door's locked or not.

One of us should spend rs 500 for the sake of the whole community, and let the others see how things actually work. If after that, you are not convinced, RTI and PMO are always there.

An extract from the CA Regulations Act . . . Which entitles the institute to regulate the pass percentage . . . CA regulations act 1988 section 39 ( 2 ) it is read as follows : The council may in its discretion revise the marks obtained by all candidates in particular paper or all the papers or in the aggregate in such a manner as may consider necessary, FOR MAINTAINING THE PASS PERCENTAGE AS PROVIDED IN THESE REGULATIONS

Look i got explanations on CCI only...refer below :

"The council may in its discretion revise the marks obtained by all candidates in particular paper or all the papers or in the aggregate in such a manner as may consider necessary, FOR MAINTAINING THE PASS PERCENTAGE AS PROVIDED IN THESE REGULATIONS. For the complete act follow the link   https://www.sa- dhan.net/ Adls/Legal/ Banking/Rules/ PriRule/Chartere dAccoRegu1988. htm#10   The whole section reads as follows   39 . EXAMINATION RESULTS.- (1) (a) A list of candidates declared successful at each examination shall be published. (b) The names of candidates obtaining distinction in the examination shall be indicated in the list. (c) Every candidate shall be individually informed of his result. (2) The Council may, in its discretion, revise the marks obtained by all candidates or a section of candidates in any particular paper or papers or in the aggregate in such manner as may be considered necessary, for maintaining the standards of pass percentage provided in these Regulations. Explanation. -The term "section" used in this sub-regulation refers to the category of the candidates whose answer papers are valued by an examiner and such other category of candidates as may be specified by the Council.(3) A candidate who passes at one sitting an examination with seventy per cent of the total marks for all the papers for that examination shall be considered to have passed the examination with distinction. Explanation. -For the purpose of reckoning the seventy per cent marks mentioned in this sub-regulation, any fractions of half or more shall be rounded upto the next whole number.(4) (i) Information as to whether a candidate's answers in any particular paper or papers of any examination have been examined and marked shall be supplied to the candidate on his submitting within a month of the declaration of the result of the said examination, an application, accompanied by a fee of 1twenty rupees per paper subject to a maximum of 1fifty rupees. (ii) The fee shall be only for verifying whether the candidate's answers in any particular paper or papers have been examined and marked, and not for the re-examination of the answers. (iii) The marks obtained by a candidate in individual questions or in sections of a paper shall not be supplied. (iv) If as a result of such verification, it is discovered that there has been either an omission to examine or mark any answer or answers or there has been a mistake in the totalling of the marks, the fee for verification shall be refunded in full to the candidate.

Guys less than three months left for exams, chill.. even em d victim of such system.. work harder n harder, get d degree n den change d system.. enter institute politics, b a president n den change d concerned sections ... that wud b d easiest way guys..!

(Guest)

Three months or three years! nothing would really work ..when institute wont give you actual marks...dont worry one day you will recall this thread..would regret..

Further, we are speaking about something which is going on ..it is not that we will not be giving exams. We will give exams and change system. Do you really think its easy to be president..in democracy / institute being NPO we are regulated by that but can argue for changes....its made for fair service..we are also asking for this!
