profession tax
PT deducted from my previous and current employer is 2800/- so eligible PT deduction under salary is 2500/- or 2800/- ?

professional tax or tax on employment is deducted by company as per respective state govt law subject to maximum 2500/- If 2800 deducted then you can claim full amount under section 16(iii) of the income tax act.
