To write IPCC direct entry scheme exams, you need to study 9 months. So take 9months study gap from the date of registration to your IPCC. If you register in this month, you gets May 2014 attempt. You should also do ITT and Orientation after your ipcc registration and should start immediately articles training after completing ITT and orientation. Practically it may be difficult to complete both itt and orientation because of no seats to attend for them in big cities. Hence i advise you to register via CPT route so that you need to do articles only after passing group one. I hope you are doing bank job. Below is official link for the confirmation:

Yes, there should be 9months study gap between your exam and registration. If you register in this month, you can give May 2014 attempt. Hope ur doubt clarified.
