Prema CA topper joins Indian bank..

Can someone tel me what do CA's do in Bank?

Barring Investment Banking domain...of Bank,For which our SFM syllabus is not Good enough!

she's been taken because of her talent..anything practical no body teaches not even IIMs..no only investment banking but also in treasury,corporate finance etc there is good demand of CAs..

I think she will be in post of credit manger or in tresury department

Rs 28000 may not be applicable to her..coz rankholders get high package..she also got flat in mumbai..actual package can be told by her..if she joined at Rs 28000..then no body should do CA..roohi agrawal joined p&g with over rs 15 lakh..Prema package may be lesser than Rs 15 lakhs but certanly should not be Rs 28000 per month..if that is the case then diamond don't know her worth..though there is bad time for CAs..still topper prefers by HUL,P&G,ITC,Big 4 etc..even Big 4 pay over Rs 9 Lakhs to rankers and just Rs 5.5 Lakhs to non rankers..

Rs28000/- is the salary offered to her. The CTC (cost to company) which includes items like conveyance allowance, leased accomodation, LTC, medical benefit, contribution to NPS, etc etc the amount will more. 

The huge amount projected by the so called mnc's are the CTC and not the net salary received by the employee. A bank job with good prospect for promotion and job security is always preferrable even though the salary may be a few thousand less 

Dear shinoj, it's 28000 Dollar not rupees and it comes approx 15.09 lacs indian currency at current rate.

Yeah why would Indian Bank pay her in Dollars Lol...
