I have just cleared PE2.I want to have some additional qualification alongwith CA.For what should I go? I am thinking about CS, MBA or CPA.Can you tell me from where could I get coaching for CPA and what is the eligibility and detailed procedure for joining the course.

see there are many classes. you can join any of that but however actually i do have details regarding the same but i cant write so much over here. since there are many things of course, if i write here you may get confused. if you want to know call me up. i will tell you. get me your email id i will give you my mobile no.

Hi Ankita, First of all congratulation for clearing the PE-2 exam. I also cleared my PE - 2 exam in November 06. In my opinion you shpuld join CPA. The basic qualification for joinig the CPA course is CA. First you become a CA than you go for CPA. After ca it is only for 2 years course. So don't take a tenssion in advance.

Actually I have heard from somewhere that preparation for CPA can be done alongwith CA to save the time.Is it not right?

Hi, No its not right that cpa start with ca. Because for CPA the basic qualification is CA.

yes ankita you are absolutely righ. you can study cpa alongwith ca. this is also bull sh*t. fully wrong information which this sahil has provided. the basic qualification to get into cpa is clear your pe-2/mcom part 1 and do cpa from colorado state, or if you are a graduate then do a federal taxation course and then you are eligible. there is nothing like you need to do ca or cs or anything. ok bye

i hv completed M.B.A(finance) nd nw want to do CA. Bt i dnt know hw to go abt it?

i am ca final student. my attempt is in nov08. i have also filled up form for cs and my attempt for inter is in june08. but now people telling there is no use of doing both ca and cs. pls help me have i done the right thing?? i am very confused???

Dear Nikita,

I can assure that you haven't taken a bad decision. infact it's a very good combination. infact my principal in a FCA and ACS. He practices both and hence he is able to provide a complete service to his clients. Moreover one of my teacher is a FCA, AICWA, ACS. he was practising till the last three months. Now he is the CFO of SATHYAM. People say that he earns around Rs. 4 crores a year.
