FR - Dont follow books, if possible -- only refer class notes of any good teacher, arrange from your friend. Go for Praveen Sharma Class Notes (For miscellaneous topics and AS You may refer M P Vijay Kumar)
SFM _ J B Gupta DvD Lactures plus book 
Audit - Padhuka (For Less important and Typical theory portion you can refer Surbhi Bansal
Law - Munish Bhandari Handbook Plus Padhuka for Detailed Study

AMA - Padhuka plus Study Material and Practice Manual
ISCA - Manish Valechha plus and Practice Manual (The book covers full syllabus also includes examples, diagrams, memory codes....No need to refer study material use with practice manual only, module is time consuming and difficult to revise & produce in examination)
Direct Taxes- T.N.Manoharan Plus Summary Module of Vinod Gupta (Prepare notes for lengthy and typical portion, if possible)
Indirect Taxes - N S Govindan for Concepts (Padhuka or Banger for detailed Study and past exam Questions)

Dear Manu, I am also a ca final student doing self study. I dont think referring notes is a gud idea. When u do self study, u have to grasp everything urself. If u use notes, I dont think that will be possible. 

Pls check this link. /forum/final-books-151214.asp There I had given my choices of books with brief explanations. But for IDT my choice is now different from what I had suggested in that link. At that time, I preferred Vaitheeswaran but later I realised that the book didnt cover full portion. Now I prefer Bangar which is comprehensive & best from the viewpoint of exams.

Also, pls use module for ISCA. I know it is time consuming. But that is the best way to pass in this paper.

One more thing..Pls dont rely on books by Saravanaprasath(paduka). If u really are going to do self study, then books of paduka arent going to help u. Of course u can use them for problem solving purpose. But it is of no use for understanding concepts(from my experience).
