1.What is meant by a Co-Subsidary?

2.What is the Difference between a shareholder and a member ?

In order to be a shareholder, shareholding is necessary but to become a member the name should be entered in Register of member. e.g. In a company not having share capital there is only member but not shareholder.
Suppose there is A Holding Co. H and it has two subsidiayy A & B. In such case A is co-subsidiary fo B.

Mr Vinit,

Then you say the promotors are otherwise Known as members?

The explanation for co subsidary and subsidary doesnt make any differnce in the example u have given above  please differenciate

1) If promoters name are present in register of member than 'Yes'.................2) In case of subsidiary there is our control but not in case of Co-subsidiary.

AGREE WITH VINIT

Dear Sivaram

Members are those persons whose name are in the Register of Comapny.

if person have shares and dont have name in register he is not member of the company

if person have shares and have name in register he is member of the company

if person have not shares and have name in register he is not member of the company

Vinit is correct

Agree with vinit.....
