I read a post which says the study material for all the papers have changed is it true and Have the CA Final portions for all the papers been revised , to what extent ? And would such changes be applicable for May 13 final exams ? (of course For direct tax and indirect tax the latest act with all its ammendments is to be studied , but what about the other papers ) i have all the ICAI study materials that i have been using for the past 2-3 attempts, except for ISCA for whcih i purchased a new one for nov 12. Is it required that all the reference books too have to be purchased afresh ? please inform me , help would be deeply appreciated

Do not panic. Study material keeps on updating does not mean that syllabus is changed. However in SFM & ISCA some additions & deltions are made. Whether this is applicable or not , enquire with Board of studies...

I am also appearing for May 13 Exam..... Regarding change in syllabus, as far as i have seen i think there are no material changes....
In AMA,
1. They have removed 18th and 19th chapter which was already not there for us..
2. Clubbed 2nd and 3rd chapter and made a single chapter
3. Shifted Shut down & divestment from 1st chapter to 2nd chapter
4. Removed the preparation of fixed and flexible budgets from budgetary control
and thats it... no major changes
Like in ISCA also i dont find any material change in syllabus...... only regrouping of chapters are done....
I would prefer someone else to check the same and correct me if i am wrong......
is this applicable for this term
