Dear friends, i am preparing for CPT Dec 12 exam on my own due to certain limitations. I am studying Accounts and Law conceptually. But i am studying Economics and QT(Maths,Stat) just for the sake of CPT exam. Do this kind of study creates any problem in the later stages of CA i.e in IPCC and Final? Are Economics and QT(Maths,Stat) are much important in IPCC and Final? please guide me.

It would be nice if you can keep in touch with the current business world and global economy.
I would also like to mention that arithmetics would be of a great help in your whole career.
certain calculations in final do involve statistical tools and calculations.
If you had taken mathematics till your 12th , it would help.
I would conclude that they take a limited place in Furhter CA studies.
