Can anybody provide me the source of notification which exempts students from taking permission for other course if he has joined articleship and other course also before 01/04/2008. My friend joined articleship in April 2007 and also LL.B course in June 2007 and he didnt obtained permission relying on the above notification.

I don't think/ recall there was any notification that exempts from taking permission. Though one could do one graduation course along with articleship, that too when timings didn't clash with articleship timing.

Form 112 to seek permission, had to be sent anyhow. If you mean condonation of breach for the relevant regulations, this maybe what you are talking about:
