penalty for late filling 3b ?
as per gov instruction no penalty for 2 month late return ... many more say penalty applicable for 3b late return as 100 per day up to 5k ... who is right pls give suggestion ?

Late Fee or Penalty will be levied for non-filing of GSTR- 3B in time. There is no notification for the Press Release dated 18th June 2017 which said no penalty for 2 months late return.
Questions were also asked on the twitter handle about relaxation from late fee and penalty given by CBEC for the interim period of 2 months, however there is no reply for the same. Thus having ambiguity regarding the matter.
