Partnership firm

Partnership Firms are registered at the registrar of firms of your state. Some states may have regional registrars ( i.e more than one - find out where your jurisdiction is. If it is a new firm, partnership Act Form No 1 has to be filed which is to be signed and declaration verified by all partners ( other than minors). Filing fees differs from state to state. In most states now a certified copy ( i.e copy signed by all partners) of the partnership deed is mandatory if the firm is not an oral partnership. It is also better to attach proof of payment of filing fees along with application form (in case payment is made separately)
