I would like to know if I am right in proceeding in writing both groups of Final in Nov.2013. Will be starting preparations from August 2013 except Law, which I have almost given the whole Institute Material a good reading..
I am referring to Institute Study Material for all subjects including RTPs and Suggested Answers. For DT , VK Singhania book is being used. Others I am comfortable with Institute Materials ..

Yes, you can apply for both groups, later check the status of your study progress by mid-September and take a call whether you are able to cover adequately the portions with the quantum of time available at your disposal. Many a times in such situations, it is better to have Plan A, B, C, so that you can shift gears based on the circumstances prevailing at that point in time.
In addition to ICAI's study material, you may also lay your hand on some more important materials like Practice Manual, Revision Test Papers, Supplementary Notes on Amendments in Direct Taxes and Indirect taxes, along with case laws, circulars, notifications in Law papers.
