I want to know process for transfer of NRI PAN from domestic jurisdiction to International jurisdiction.
This is required for applying for form 13.
please help if there is any online or offline process.
normal process for changes in jurisdiction is to write letter to source AO and seek permission. please let me know exact process for NRI PAN transfer.

Not sure about the online process, but pre-faceless era, an application is required to be made to the international AO laying down the reason why the PAN transfer is sought. A copy of the said application is also to be filed with the jurisdictional AO.

Now that the tax offices are functioning, in my view, it would be advisable to file it at the office instead of sending it through courier as it will be helpful while following up on the status of the application
