Sir,

I have a doubt will you please clear it

Sub  Payment of Gratunity  Act.

A person has worked in pvt ltd company for 7 years. The company is not registered under Payment of Gratunity Act.  Is it mandatory on the part of the Employer to pay the Gratunity or not. The appointment letter does not mention any thing about the gratunity. Is there any procedure to follow if the company does pay the gratunity. I cannot see anything about the Non payment of gratunity in the payment of gratunity in the act. Please help.

In f.m. i was struggling with the concepts i bought S.D.Bala.i found it to be good with conceptual clarity. now i want a good reference book for costing,apart from paduka is there any book? because paduka is bulky and i am not comfortable like i am with bala. please sir suggest me some good book to refer..
