New Final CA -Grand total 496 marks but Failed!!!!

congrats for passing 1st grp.,

one of my friend is  got ZERO mark in ICSA . He was sure that he will get atlesat 50 marks in this subject.

but he is very disappoint after seeing his result.

he wonder that how ICAI give ZERO marks in ICSA, also he was not absent in that paper . he was attend 80 mark paper.

I would suggest go for the retotal. I have heard that previously students were able to get increase of 20 to 30 marks on the retotal ! Good Luck.

hey hello, really this tym results were shocking,i am to appear fr xams of final in may for first time,but one of my senior who was a rank holder at both levels of ca got aggregate total higher than u i.e. 509/800 bt failed in isca.this is really terrible.

Really Hard Luck... sure you should go for Retotaling.

At the same time i would suggest once you apply for Retotaling just forget ... means treat yourself as you are prepairing for May'11 (may be sounding hard but Sorry Dost).

In the past I secured 198 in First group and after retotaling i had toappear again. Likewise way back i secured 195 in Grup 2 & in the same exam 59 in IDT... retotaling didn't work in both case.

So Do apply for Retotaling ... but treat your self pass Only when you get your marksheet.

i forgot to tell this thing yesterday. same thing happened last time ie for may 2010 attempt. one of my friend who also scored very high marks in all other subjects but failed in MICS and DT. i think she cleared DT that  but couldnot score 60+ in DT. anyway she had to write only 2 papers is MICS and DT this november. and she cleared this time.

so i want to tell you that you apply for retotalling. pls dont expect a miracle, eventhough yout hink that  are eligible for it.

shocking yaar ...hard luck for next time...can u suggest me how to prepar in paper 1 and 2 for get marks
