MVAT TIN No Search by Dealer'sName

specify the purpose of such search plz, as if u want to verify the TIN of any party, then the TIN is with you, but u are asking for somebody else's tin no, 

though the information can be made available for tin confirmation, but unless the purpose is mentioned, pass out of somebody else's data is not welcome, it can be get misused by public forum visitors. 

better u please visit the PRO of the vat office to get such details after specifying your purpose/ intention.

Thanks for inquiry, but, This is not the matter of other secrect information. When some dealer come with their TIN no for purchase the matterials. We have to write TIN No on our Sales Invoice. Or may be of OMS sales for the purpose of "C" form, we have to confirme whether the  TIN No is correct or not.

1) when its OMS sales they provide u waybill or other permits. if u are unsure of correct tin number, charge full rate of CST equivalant to full rate of vat applicable.

2) when its within maharastra sales, you have to charge full rate of vat, and their tin number is put for their convenience, i.e if they provide wrong, they will not get input credit.

3) for online verification of TIN number provided by buyer you can use

there are two type of TIN in taxation 

1) TIN (Value added tax) commonly used as Value Added Tax Number, needed for seller/buyer identificaton 

2) TIN ( Tax Information Network) , usualy its TAN , compulsary for assesee who need to deduct tax at source.
