Dear friends,

 

will u please tell me the exact claculation for Entry & exit load for Mutual Fund investment with example?

 

say, NAV today= Rs. 25.8750.

Entry load =1.5%

Exit load= .75%

then what are the sale & purchase cost?

If you purchase then the Entry Load will be added to the NAV i.e 25.875+.388 = 26.263 is the purchase cost.

If you sale then teh exit load will be deducted from the sale value i.e 25.875 - .1941 = 25.6809 is the sale value.

Also give affect to the STT cost to the above price.

The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is Rs 10 per unit. The new issue is open for subscripttion from 6 May and closes on 7 May 2010.

The primary investment objective of the scheme is to seek to generate regular returns and growth of capital by investing in a diversified portfolio of Central, State Government securities and other fixed income/ debt securities normally maturing in line with the time profile of the scheme with the objective of limiting interest rate volatility.

The duration of the scheme is 24 months .any news or views pls be free to share
