becoz people r incresg but they have to perform 1 task 

so they take more time

but y will they be joinin together and doing the task.. coz the task has already been completed by 10 and other 15 people!! 

The relation ship between no of workers and time taken is not linear. Hence, we have to use differentiation to get the answer.

It will take 3hrs and 20 mins to complete the task

solution:

10 persons can do the work in 10 hours so 1 person can finish the work in 100hrs i.e he is capable of doing 1/10th of work each hour.

similarly 15 persons can do the task in 5 hours so 1 person can finish the work in 75hrs i.e. he is capable of doing 1/5th of work each hour.

Now if all the 25 persons(i.e10+15persons) will finish the task than it will take 3hrsand 20 mins as below:

when combined the force now the capacity of total force of doing the work per hour is 1/10+1/5=3/10th per hour.

and in total they can finsish the work in 3hrs and 20 mins
