Anyone kindly let me know the best method of writing MICS in exams. Do we exactly replicate what is given in the Institute study material? Or can we present it in our on method?

 where is ur question???

exactly replicate what is in inst..material

In MICS also you have to do exactly what you did for Organisation and Management in PE-I...!!

I know MICS is difficult to learn, but as you try to understand it and not learn it, then it will be easy for you to remember...

And yes, no need to replicate of the matter in the institute material...

I never read the institute's material... I did read MICS from G. Shekhar and understood it (as it is easy t ounderstand).....

I wrote almost everything in my own words only.... and beleive me it was not difficult for me to get exemption even when I was not able to attept the full paper...!!

Hope my suggestion helps you....!!

 you write your own,

and the examiner gives marks of thier own choice

study dinesh madans book...u wil know how to write...it is the best book for mics...

Just treat MICS as LAW. It may sound crazy but I will tell u why. There are certain questions for which any one can write a good answer to, if he is a bit techno savvy and has basic understanding about computers. Now computers and issueselating to computers are area of interest of a lot og students so at the onset the MICS paper seems relatively easy. But scoring good marks in MICS is difficult and infact a lot of students fail in final gr-2 only because of this subject. I' ll give an example. Suppose question is asked on "What damage a virus can cause to your system". You may write 20 points on it and your points may be very correct and your answer may be selected if you send it to a computer related magazine, still  you will hardly get any marks above 4 out of 10. If u replicate what is there in the book even if u know the MICS book is quite outdated you will get full marks because for the simple reason that your answer tallies with the answer sheet supplied to the evaluators.

jyoti is very much correct, i did it and i got poor marks, but i managed to clear the exam...!

Dude , once you have your concepts clear , you can frame your own best method of presentation. I mean it`s very very difficult  to replicate  the matter given in the institute`s material. Further we cannot memorize each n every word, so conceptual clearance is the only way to win MICS.
