Hey Jayanta, great question about the new MCA Portal V3!
Here’s how it generally works:
-
When you log in through the company’s credentials and file documents or enter data, that data is linked to the company’s MCA account.
-
The statutory auditor won’t have direct access to your company login unless you share the ID/password (which is not advisable for security reasons).
-
Instead, the common practice is to download the relevant forms or documents after you fill them and then share those files with the auditor for review and certification.
-
Alternatively, the company can grant authorized access or delegate certain roles (like a DSC holder or authorized signatory) to the auditor if the portal allows role-based access in the future.
-
Some firms ask the company to provide the necessary documents offline or via secure sharing platforms, then the auditor certifies and uploads forms through their own login if allowed.
As of now, the MCA V3 portal hasn’t fully integrated auditor role access from a company’s login for certification purposes. So sharing files securely or giving delegated access remains the practical way.
