i have performed journey in block 06-09, but the amount of bill is more than the eligible amount upto the end of that block.
Should the remaining balance of the invoice be carried forward & paid in the next block?

Part claim in one block and balance in another is NOT PERMISSIBLE under the Income Tax Act. If no journey is performed in one block then in such cases it can be carried over to next block i.e in the next block 3 nos of journey can be performed and the same will be exempt u/s 10

No, this cannot be done..Had this be allowed then what is the purpose of cap on the amount of exemption..
Further exemption is available in respect of jornies performed in the Block an in this case the journey was performed in the previous Block.
