no all public companies are not listed.

allocation to the relatives is company to company decision....

most will give to relatives but it is not mandatory to give to relatives

Sir, My question is that when a company has alloted all the shares to its relatives and not in public why the company is been treated as pucblic limited and not private limited.

i understood vivek....

i am telling that private limited can give only to limited number persons....which is 200

but public company can give to many persons whether it may be relatives or general public.

if you register as a public company it will be treated as a public company and whom to issue is your choice you can issue either to a relative or any one.

but in private only to known persons....

just because of giving to relatives a public limited doesn't become private company. or need not be called as private company

they can very well use it
