Itt training

I have registered myself for ITT training of 100hrs during 1st week of march'13. but i have not been confirmed till now for my ITT training. I asked the person incharge and he said that students are selected randomly and told me try next time. is it fair??

whats the use of registering so early??plz help what shall I do know??
