one of our client is operating transport to industries. he raises the invoice on monthly basis. he is charging 5%TAX to clients.
can take the input tax credit for maintenance of his vehiles.

Yes he can claim that ITC.

if he GTA, & charging 5% gst, then no ITC, if he his charging 12%gst then he can avail ITC
as per notifications no. 22/2017 Cgst (rate)
