Is rcm applicable on 4000 rent per month?

If you have any expenses (on which GST is applicable) in addition to rent which is equal to 5000, then RCM will be applicable.

Say Rent 4000 and other expenses say printing and stationery or transport of Rs1000) then RCM will be applicable.

If there is only rent of Rs4000/- then RCM will not be applicable. In this case you need to show this amount in exempt column in GSTR-3B
