I would like to know whether incomes in the form of annuities and pension from LIC schemes such as Jeevan Akshaya and Pradhan Mantri Vandana Yojna are taxable in the hands of receiver whether senior citizens or others.

1. Can standard deduction be claimed on the pension received for AY 209-20?

2. If exempt, under what section

and

3. Is there a list of schemes somewhere to be referenced if certain schemes are exempt

Thanks
