is gst apllicable for godown rent? I m having a gst no.
I am paying a rent for godown which I used for commercial purposes The rent amt. is 60000 monthly with tds deducted. should gst required for this form the owner of the godown

Yes... I agrred to Mr. RAMESH D MODI.,

 

GST applicable for Rent paid in your case. In case The Landlord is Registered Under GST he ll be issue Taxable Receipt/Invoice (Rs. 60000*18% = 10800 + 68000 = 70800).  If landlord is UR then he ll be given Receipt Rs. 60000/-.

You can pay the Tax Rs. 10800/- Under RCM.

Gst is applicable only if rent exceeds 20 lac rupees since your annual rent is 7.20lac no gst

dear sir,

if rent exp. 13500 pm annual is 162000.00 please tell me gst is applicable or not.
