a Licentiate member can niether be appointed as Company Secretary under section 383, nor he can give any report/ certificate like compliance certificate, annual report signing, annual ROC forms certification, etc.

The only benefit is that he can represent himself as a member of ICSI ( whether Associate, Fellow, or Licentiate). further an LCS can be allowed to meet ROC and other officials on production of LCS membership card.

nai i want to know what jobs LCS cam take up .... i mean will there be any use ...as i m c.a final student....most probably will be dng my own practice .... so will it be any useful

LCS means Licenseiate comp. secretary

it means that there is no benefit of Doing CS without Training ?

friends

why cant we request to the ICSI for relaxation or exemption from training for those who are doing more than one professional courses like CA, CS, CWA. atleast a reduced period of training will also be beneficial for us. Because those who are doing CA and CS cannot do training for both at the same time. so in total 4.25 years will have spent for training itself. those who are doing CS and ICWA will also have to do the same. This issue has to be considered by the three professional bodies

You can get Exemption from CS training if you have 3 years of work experience in the relevant field.  Find clear details in https://yehseeyes.blogspot.com/2010/02/newcstrainingsipedpmsoppdpparttimeicsic.html

yaar !!!!!!!!! main ye asking ke main c.a bhi ban gya n lcs ban gya ...toh kya iska mujhe meri practise mein koi fyada hoga ya nai??? simple.....

ha bhai..bohut hi fayda hoga...tereko legal matters aur accha samajh me aayegi..aur agar cs ka articleship bhi manage karlega toh compliance certificate bhi de payega...samjha...aur kuch janna ho to batana...take cr...

nai toh kya main apne pass dono memberships rakh sakta hu kya c.a ki bhi n lcs ki bhi .....

offcoures you can have both degrees (ACS & LCS/ACS)but u can take COP either from ICSI or from ICAI. you can hold any number of degrees like ACA, ACS, AICWA, LLB  but you can not hold more than one COP at a time.
