As per E-way bill rule Atleast 1 original copy
You can prepare triplicate of invoices.
Original for buyer, duplicate for transport and triplicate retained with seller.
atleast 2 copy one original for buyer and one for transporter copy
Yes... I agreed to Mr Pankaj Rawat.,

As per E-Way Bill rule Original Bill and E-Way Bill is enough...

If the movement is not under E-Way bill then 2 copies of Invoices is enough. One Original Copy and One Transporter Copy...
At time of transport, you can carry 2 copies of invoices....
Yes... May be 3 copies is applicable if You want received details / accepted by Recipient in Extra Copy
As per Invoice Rule ,
1. copy of original bill for recepient
2. copy of duplicate bill for Transporter
3. copy of triplicate bill for office copy of SUPPLIER
one of my client was sending only one invoice with the transporter as per invoice rules but the goods were detained on the ground that he is not carrying two copies even though intra eway bill was also there....what to do in future ?
