SIR, My Basic salary is below Rs 6500 that is only Rs 6000 is employer is eligible to deducted an epf amount from me.or not

No. Now the limit is increased from 6500 to 15000.

sir,

That means   I am not falling under the Epf category an employer cannot deducted epf from my salalry.Am i right sir.

If the basic salary is upto 15000/- your employer is bound to deduct EPF if he is registered.

Your salary is less than prescribed limit so you have to contribute minimum 12 % on your salary where as employer contribution is maximam 12 % on 15000( if your salary is more than 15000) in this case employer also liable to contribute 12% on basic salary.

Limit of 15000 is wef 01/09/2014.

So , employer is eligible to deducted the epf from my salary.

What is eps i thing it should not deducted from my salary.???
