As such in FY 2018-19 only, unless you get certificate from NSDL for contribution amount received on 28.3.2018.

You have registered for net banking........... but any benefits of NPS contribution can be availed only if you had paid the contribution online.......
You would have issued cheque for your NPS contribution.

In that case you would have downloaded the payment receipt 'for the contribution to NPS' from the NSDL site, as on 28.03.2018.
Based on that receipt you can claim your deduction in the year 2017-18 itself.

Based on bank passbook or money transfer details, you can claim your deduction; but to avoid any future litigation, a receipt from NSDL would be more authentic; particularly when NPS statement itself reveals different year of deposit.
Get clarification from NSDL....
