further life is not for a CA result or any other result, its for live so don't think on one part, see your happiness in your family live for them. still not satisfy try to help other make friends , No need to be CA for being president of India, don't lose your heart.

First don't be disheartened.............:)

Just make urself realize one thing that if u have not cleared till now still u have lost nothing..............

U have ur whole life ahead of u..........and its not that CA is the only thing in which one can make his/her career ............there are so many other options and u r 23 so its not that time has gone.....

I would say, take a call since u have been in this course for long, that this May/ November would be my last attempt - and then study like the way Dhoni batted yestrday - to make or to break...

If u able to study with that thing in mind then trust me 99.99% chances are there that u will make it..........cos invariably the reason for that so called Depression especially in the cases like urs is not the failure but the uncertainity regarding how long these things will go and what I will do after that and things like that.............

So once u are clear that after this May/Nov I won't be studing this again no matter what the result would be, u will derive a sense of comfort.....and thats all u need at this point.............

You got passed in Group -1, so its clear that you have a analytical mind.

I think you are a Hindi Medium Student..

If yes,
do one thing... don't read each and everything of the book everytime.

If you have not made notes, get notes from your friends or co-scholar, take RTP (Revised test papers of previous 2 attemps. get them solved by yourself.

In each paragraph, there are something which is important to remember, just highlight that with a highlighter (Yellow Highlighter is preferred).

Don't mesh with books... have one reference material for each subject.

Get notes from only one coaching institute/friend (Don't waste time in reading all the notes from all the tutors)

As I thing, you must be working somewhere, If true, my kind suggestion is to leave that job completely. (For the time being you can get some account writting job for a few pence for livelihood) 

Give your full egergy in real, (Think twice that, you are not only who is failing but there are many who are passing, then why not you).

Don't let down by your result. You will definitely able to clear your exams in upcoming attempts. One thing i want to say you that never loose hope in your efforts coz if u have no faith in yourself, u can't win any game.

Try to study as usual as u normally studied and stay positive regarding your exams.

Buddy ......Who says u have failed. I really applaud the guts you have had to come out open about your state of mind in this forum. I bet very few have such a kind of attitude. Half of your depression would have already subsided by posting this here.

Many of our learned seniors have already given the best possible advice. I would just want to share what i have seen of past 2 and a half yrs of my articles. I was wit a Big 4 for 2 years and most of the companies where i have worked, the finance department professionals where 1/2 CA (Final not cleared , Inter 1 group Cleared) but they were drawing a decent salary and were leading a content life.

So dont worry at all. You have a good life ahead. I pray to god that CA gets prefixed to your name sooner than later and you succeed in life. Just one thing i would want to advice is try taking up other courses like a MBA, CS, CIMA, CFA etc...,. Anything which interests you. It ll surely help in future.

I would recommend you to derive the desire to clear your exam from your parents !!!

Just dedicate your preparation to your parents and see the magic.

See—If you leave CA there would be no chance to succeed and if you continue you may do wonders !!!

i think dont leave CA, i thnk u have good work exp also u can go for part time MBA like Fore School Delhi

and u can also go for ACCA,which has similar exams

                     hey buddy iam md.lateef the way you performed in your PE2  me too did the same in CPT i cleared it in my 5th attempt coz iam weak at maths u so may be feeling difficult wid one subject u chase the subject until u get away from it AND iam sure man u have taken out half of the burden by posting ur feelings here AND IAM SURE u will succeed this may 2010 and will be joining a CA for articleship very soon .

As Amir advised u in da best way, just do it accordingly...

& there is one benefit in MAY attempt that Paper of INCOME TAX covers 25-30 marks just from amendments... So this is the bonus marks... Info Tech is scoring subject.. Bas costing sambhal lena..

& do read theory in COSTING FM... it covers 30-35 marks...
