As per Income Tax act if the rent exceeds 1 lakh (8333 p.m), employee has to furnish owner's PAN to claim HRA. If employee has rented 2 different properties in a year and the rent in either cases doesn't exceed 1 lakh, should he furnish PAN of those two owners?
